Here is the link to your service manual: Message 8 of 9. The BIOS error you are receiving specifically pertains to an unsupported wireless card.
Can’t even get into the BIOS. Maybe you can do a search on the vieo by the part number you need, and see if you can get it cheaper elsewhere than from HP. That is because the device met it own certification requirements. If you install an unsupported wireless card, that is the error you get. I also see it does go enhances the WWAN mini-pcie slot, so that is definitely why you are getting that error.

The card I’m trying ccrystal use isn’t a wifi card, it’s a video accelerator. I have not found any documentation where it states that one must use a specific wireless device with the HP part numbers on them, but I do know that the only way a wireless device can be tested and certified by HP as having met the regulatory standards is one they have slapped a HP part number on.
