My guess is it was relabeled by a reseller at some point; the SPD readings usually match up. I hate when that happens.

Flex Memorywhich is marginally faster than single-channel, and much slower than symmetric dual-channel. It helps quite a bit more to know there’s an issue with a particular part that disappears when the part is replaced or removed.
At least with Dell there’s a tech to troubleshoot and fix things with plenty of spare parts to test with, and said testing doesn’t cost me a penny if it’s still under warranty.
